Bathsheba
It’s been said that King David’s wife, Bathsheba would bathe in milk to keep her skin soft and beautiful.
Like her baths, the waters of Bathsheba beach, Barbados are also said to be rich in minerals to make the skin supple and glowing and it’s tidal pools are fit for a Queen.
The rugged beach and dramatic coastline makes Bathsheba one of the most breath taking places I’ve ever visited.
The surf is rough and you can hear it crashing on the shore even before you have reached the beach. Masses of seaweed litter the sand, palm trees dance in the wind and imposing boulder-like remnants from an ancient coral reef dot the shore as does a somewhat eerie relic of what maybe was once a home, but something about this place is so serene, so calm, I can’t take me eyes off it.
